CEREC is an acronym for CEramic RECon-struction. We take a 3-dimensional photo of your tooth and custom-craft, using computer-assisted design, a perfectly molded restoration. Minutes later we bond your final restoration in place.

He uses a system of computer aided design called CEREC that allows the doctor to take an image of a patient's tooth and produce a porcelain crown or restoration that is identical to a real tooth in color, texture and look. It even feels hot and cold temperatures the way a real tooth would. Dr. Crumpton considers CEREC to be the best type of porcelain restoration available currently.

One-visit crowns
Crowns can take up to three visits and the use of a temporary crown to fully restore your tooth. With CEREC technology this can be done in a single visit while you are in the chair! CEREC's precision 3-D technology allows us to create a customized crown that fits your tooth accurately and is biocompatible with your own tooth structure.
CEREC restorations are very durable and aesthetic. The restoration is chemically bonded to your tooth, so that tooth structure can be preserved while providing you with a dental restoration that strengthens your tooth.
